nice vintage silver on copper pitcher has a lot of age and a great
style. It's a nice size at approximately 7.25" high and 5.5"
in diameter not including the handle and spout, and it features
an etched band of floral decoration around the top portion of
the pitcher. It's in good condition with some age tarnish that
may come off if you wish to clean it, and it's marked on the back
F B Rogers Silver Company 1883 crown mark impressed in the metal
along with 1607 and "Silver On Copper, direct to your door

a recent consignment, another Wallace silverplate trivet in the
Art Nouveau style, with typical very high quality Wallace detailing
and intricacy of design and construction. It measures approximately
6.25" in diameter and has an intricate design full of interesting
twists and turns in its flowing Art Nouveau style. The detail
and craftsmanship is right at the top of the silverplate craft,
and it's fully marked on the back Wallace Silverplate 7321 EPC.

One
of the finest and most highly detailed examples of a marked vintage
metal serving dish with handle we've ever had, with two clamp
shaped compartments with fantastic and precise detail and an elaborate
and ornate handle in the center to make for easy carrying. Overall,
the design is just very eye catching, and the size and form make
it flexible for a variety of uses- candy, condiments, nuts, olives,
jellybeans, and more. It's marked on the bottom with C and an
S on each side of a crown mark, but research has not yet turned
up a specific manufacturer. What's certain however is that it's
not surprisingly that the piece is marked given the precise detailing
and construction, obviously of very high quality. It measures
approximately 11.5" wide, 6.0" deep, and 6.0" high,
part of a San Francisco, CA consignment of antique and vintage
metalware. |

marked Wendell August Forge solid pewter bangle bracelet features
very finely detailed pine tree branches, needles, and pine cones
that really add a lot of flair to this vintage bangle. Each Wendell
August aluminum, bronze, pewter and sterling silver piece is painstakingly
crafted using many of the same tools and techniques Pennsylvania
have historically artisans used, with the company having been
founded in 1923. We love the theme and craftsmanship of this piece,
marked with the trademarks of the Wendell August Forge as well
as Pewter, all impressed in the metal. The open bangle bracelet
is 0.75" wide and flexible enough to accommodate a variety
of wrist sizes, and it's in excellent condition coming to you
as part of a Dallas, Texas estate consignment of vintage silver

Interesting
marked goddess of the sea pin features a nicely detailed casting
of a woman in long, flowing dress with an anchor perched on her
head and spear in hand. While we're not experts on mythology,
we believe this is probably Chinese goddess of the sea Mazu, whose
legend ascribes her mystical powers to an event that took place
when she was 15. Going with her girlfriends to check out their
new dresses in the reflections of a pool, a sea creature erupted
out of the water and was holding a bronze disk out, offering it
to the girls. Terrified, the others ran away, but the brave Lin
Mo calmly accept the bronze. From that moment on, she began to
display unusual powers -- powers that grew daily and made her
a legendary figure at a young age. This nice handmade silver pin
is marked on the back "JFW" and copyright 1991 impressed
in the metal, and it measures approximately 2.0" x 0.675"
and is in excellent condition. |

have a fondness of Mexican sterling silver here, and several of
our staff were very tempted to keep this vintage sterling silver
geometric bracelet for themselves including the author of this
listing. The craftsmanship on this bracelet is very strong, with
each of the 6 links being heavy and substantial and alternating
between open and solid designs. This silver link bracelet is marked
on the back TM-198, Mexicao, and 925, all impressed in the metal.
The bracelet measures approximately 8.5" long and is in excellent
