Two Cigarettes In The Dark reflects an era when smoking was stylish and acceptable, and this vintage 1934 12.0" x 9.0" sheet music appeals to many different types of collectors. The piece has the Art Deco look of the period, with smoke drifting down from the two cigarettes suspended above. Sung by Gloria Grafton in Kill That Story, the production was staged by George Abbott and written by Lew Pollack and Paul Francis Webster. Published by De Sylva Brown & Henderson in 1934 and signed on the front cover by the original owner, it's in good condition with a center fold visible somewhat on the front and minor smudging particularly on the interior from age wear. Perfect for a frame!
