From
the end of the 19th century, The Moth and
the Flame is "Lottie Gibson's Latest
Ballad Hit" with "50,000 copies
already sold and a super cover black and
white photograph of a wedding ceremoy. We
particularly like the combination of the
elaborate and detailed wedding photograph
with the inset photograph of "The Little
Magnet Lottie Gibson. It measures approximately
13.75" x 10.5" and is in fair
condition with spine separation and numerous
small edge tears but good color retention.
It was signed and dated by its original
owner at the top "Jssie F. Ervine"
and Sept.4, 1900. With words by George Taggart
and music by Max S. Witt, it was published
in 1898 by Joseph W. Stern of New York.
