Old 1930s ceramic folk art depiction of a young man taking his siesta in the doorway with a chicken standing near, colorful exposed bricks above where the plaster of his home has chipped away. Note the chicken in the foreground and the colorful belongings hanging on the fireplace. This 1938 work is signed on the back "July, 1938 Aunt Ann" and measures approximately 9.25" high, 6.75" wide, and 1.0" deep, and it's in excellent condition with no chips or damage and 95% of the original paint and color. It has a wire hanger on the rear and is ready to hang on the wall.
