Fab pair of pink Japanese ceramic cats, whimsical and alive with their big eyes, blond hair poking out from under their blue bonnets, jowly cheeks, and how 'bout them claws? We particularly like the classic fifties pink glaze color and the hand painted highlighting that brings out the character in the figurines. Both pieces measure approximately 4.5" high and 2.5" wide; one is in mint condition and the other has a tiny flea bite less than 0.125" that's so small we believe it's probably a factory imperfection rather than a flea chip. Both have the original tag on the bottom marked "Japan."
