Cute
wine bottle cork stopper with brass horse and rider has well above
average detail in the casting and a sure conversation piece to use
with your open bottles of wine. The genuine cork bottom portion
of the stopper makes for a nice contrast with the brass horse atop,
and it's in excellent condition and measures approximately 2.75"
high and 1.5" in diameter.

Fun
wood deer pin from the 1950s or 1960s, whimsical and fun and in
excellent condition. The carved wood deer is hand painted with soulful
eyes and cute fur spots, and the wood is laminated to preserve the
finish. The pin measures approximately 2.5" high and 2.0"
wide, from a Vermont country estate. |

Fun
pair of vintage metal horse pins priced to sell, two different sizes
that when worn together make for a great look. Enamel is applied
to goldtone metal and red rhinestone eyes are added for the final
flair to create the look of these two matching horse or pony pins.
A great gift for any horse person, the larger pin measures approximately
1.375" x 1.0" while the smaller measures 1.0" x 0.5"
and are in excellent condition. |

Cute
little marked Japanese ceramic figurine c. 1960s of 3 animals -
ok, we think they're dogs but there was a little debate here about
them being lions or bears too so you can decide- in excellent condition,
measuring approximately 2.25" high and 2.375" wide. Whatever
they are, it's the whimsical, questioning look on their face that
makes it so fun, and it's marked on the back "Japan."

Fab
pair of pink Japanese ceramic cats, whimsical and alive with their
big eyes, blond hair poking out from under their blue bonnets, jowly
cheeks, and how 'bout them claws? We particularly like the classic
fifties pink glaze color and the hand painted highlighting that
brings out the character in the figurines. Both pieces measure approximately
4.5" high and 2.5" wide; one is in mint condition and
the other has a tiny flea bite less than 0.125" that's so small
we believe it's probably a factory imperfection rather than a flea
chip. Both have the original tag on the bottom marked "Japan."

Super
paua shell "Noah's Ark" bracelet, mint condition in original
box and measuring approximately 7.5" long. The Noah's Ark theme
is hard to find, and the craftsmanship and design is very strong
in this whimsical piece with the animals like giraffes and elephants
heading in pairs of two toward the ark in the center accented by
paua shell. Cross listed on Miscellaneous 2.

Very
nice pair of Wade cocker spaniel ceramic dog whimsies in mint condition
and measuring approximately 1.25" high and 1.375" wide.
There's very good detail in the textured shape of their bodies and
the use of the varying glaze shades, really bringing out the fur
and giving these whimsies an added degree of realism.

Have
your pick of cats! 1. Indiana Glass cat candle holder, clear
glass in a style everyone loves with the cat curled up in a ball
napping. It measures approximately 5.0" x 3.75" and stands
2.75" high, and it retains the famous Indiana Glass of Cincinnati,
Ohio sticker on the bottom with the model "Candle-lite".
2. Whimsical and cute Japanese ceramic cat has a fantastic
facial expression, floppy ears, and some pretty wild hair coming
out from under that blue cap. It's a really fun piece, measuring
approximately 4.0" high and 2.75" wide, and it has a Japan
paper label on the bottom. Both of these vintage cat collectibles
are in excellent condition, part of a Kansas City, MO estate collection
filled with cat things! |

With
a blast from the 50s, how 'bout this outstanding vintage pair of
mid-century metal poodle earrings in excellent condition, each round
poodle measuring approximately 1.125" in diameter. What a classic
fifties look, but it's also subtle enough to wear today to most
any occasion. A great gift for a dog lover, these earrings were
part of a significant collection of vintage 1950s collectibles and
clothing.

A
fun accessory for any lamp, this vintage puppy dog shade and light
pull is still in the original packaging and has never been used.
Made of plastic and made c 1950s by the Art Button Novelty Co. of
New York City, the dog has excellent detail and needless to say
is in mint condition. It has textured fur on front and back, and
the hand painted yellow highlights on his ears and the flowers he
wears in front add a nice flair. The pull itself measures approximately
1.75" high and 1.375" wide, found locally in a Greenwich,
CT estate.

New
listing! Pretty Tree of Life Artworks cat earrings, polymer resin
casting of original scrimshaw designs by Kim McClelland. These never
worn earrings are still on the original paper label with an extensive
description of the process and how "polymer captures all the
fine detail of the original engraving. There is also a note from
the artist Kim McClelland and noting that each Art Works is "hand
cast" and offering up "Grace and Peace." Artist Kim
McClelland exhibits the fine detailing required in carving and for
which he is known. He actually creates scrimshaw works, purchasing
fossils from the Native American Indians in Alaska and working around
cracks, fissures and chunks of bark as he slices, polishes, and
engraves them. He will then create copies in a polymer resin base
to be able to put artworks in the hands of those who could never
afford a McClelland original scrimshaw and makes his designs available
to a much larger audience." Cross listed on Jewelry 1. |
