- Historic Deerfield is a museum of New England history and art within the carefully preserved 330 year old western Massachusetts village of Deerfield. Early American decorative arts from colonial America 1650 to 1850 are found. Visitors can view antiques from the 17th and 18th centuries or do research on historical subjects. Collections include colonial antiques, American silver, English ceramics and Chinese export porcelain, textiles, needlework, and costumes fill the museum's 14 houses.
