Very hard to find 3 piece Mikasa China serving dishes in the Monet pattern, all in excellent condition except for a small edge chip 0.25" on the rim of the large oval serving platter which is mostly on the underneath side. This is a suble and elegant pattern with perimeter edge decoration and the floral bouquets and cartouches providing a real design flourish. The colors are neutral and could be used even with other china patterns, and the set includes a one piece gravy boat 3.0" high and 8.5" x 7.0", and large round serving platter 12.0" in diameter, and a very large oval serving platter 16.0" x 12.25". All are marked underneath with an older Mikasa Fine China mark, "Monet", "Japan", and 207 and come direct from the shelf of a Massachusetts country estate.
