listing! Very hard to find mint condition Farberware candy and/or
hors d'oeuvre serving dish with a vibrant red bakelite handle and
super Art Deco styling. The raised serving plate can be used for
a variety of purposes, to provide selections of candy, appetizers,
vegetables, or other assorted cocktail reception type foods. The
condition of the metal is well above the norm for pieces from this
period, and we love the bakelite handles on this type of vintage
early 20th century dinnerware and kitchenware. This piece is raised
and has the styling of a compote although not as deep, and the open
metalwork around the perimeter both adds a lot of design flair but
is also technically much more difficult to manufacture. The serving
dish rises to a total height of approximately 6.5" and measures
9.5" in diameter, and it comes to you by way of an Art Deco
period residence in the South Beach section of Miami, FL; cross
listed on Bakelite 4. /45 |

From
the estate of a former antiques dealer, this rare brass Virginia
Metalcrafters mid-century kitchen trivet commemorates the Confederate
States of America 1861 to 1865 and has all original patina. It features
a hore and rider in the center surrounded by the raised words "The
Confederate States of America", "22 February 1862",
and "Deo Vindiol".
Virginia Metalcrafters was founded on October 6th, 1890, as the
W.J. Loth Stove Company. Located in Waynesboro, Virginia. The company
signed a license with Colonial Williamsburg in 1951 to produce brass
and iron reproductions. The company's hand casting and finishing
methods are the same as those used to form the original antiques.
Williamsburg was just the first of many museum licenses. Today,
Virginia Metalcrafters manufactures licensed products for Colonial
Williamsburg, The Smithsonian Institution, Mount Vernon, Monticello,
Historic Charleston, Winterthur, Historic Newport, Old Salem, Old
Sturbridge Village and The National Trust for Historic Preservation.
The trivet measures 5.0" in diameter and is in very good condition
only missing one of the rubber foot covers (probably not original
anyway), and it's marked on the back impressed in the metal 10-18,
C.S.A. Trivet, Copyright 1952, VA. Metalcrafters along with the
manufacturer's marks. /32 |

Really
fun hand painted Italian fruit & vegetable ceramic dish with
some top notch carrots and onions decorating the top surface and
carrots forming handles on each side. This whimsical piece is typical
of high Italian quality c. 1950s, and it's marked on the bottom
Italy and T204. It measures approximately 11" long, 4.75" wide,
and stands 1.5" high, and it's in good condition with no chips and
a tiny hairline fracture on one side too subtle for the camera to
pick up and not through the piece. This is a fun piece to use and
enjoy! /22 |

Very
well executed glass sugar and creamer set with intricate floral
silver overlay and a hobnail glass base can be yours direct from
this Boston, MA estate collection of antique and vintage glass.
Both sugar and creamer combine a hobnail lower region with the intricate
silver overlay design around the entire perimeter of both pieces.
Note the detail in the silver overlay, for the lines are much narrower
than typical to lend more realism to the flowers and leaves in the
design. We particularly love the Art Deco inspired round ball handles
which in reality make them quite easy to hold in your hand. The
sugar and creamer are both rimmed in silver at the top and bottom,
a nice effect that really adds a final decorative flair. Both sugar
and creamer are in very good condition with only the need for a
nice cleaning. The sugar measures approximately 3.25" high
and 4.0" in diameter not including the handles and the creamer
measures approximately 4.0" high and 3.0" in diameter
not including the spout. |

Fun,
old "Mom" and "Pop coffee mugs, an extra large size
at 3.5" high and a full 3.75" in diameter to hold lots
of piping hot coffee in the morning. The design is very cute, with
Mom and Pop inscribed in gold amid a cartouche of flowers, and just
below the top rim are raised areas trimmed in gold as is the handle
which give them an added design flourish. Each is in excellent condition
with no chips or damage and minor age wear to the gold highlights,
and they're marked on the bottom "Japan."

Here's
a very nice marked JZH iron trivet with a nice swirl pattern in
the center, intricately rendered and all hand painted. This vintage
iron trivet has a great ornamental design that is more elaborate
than the norm and uses textured iron to add flair along the edges.
You'll be tempted to use this nice vintage trivet, but we would
advise doing it sparingly because it's just too nice with the original
paint not to hang on the wall for display. It's fully marked on
the rear J. Z. H. 1952 plus style number 12. It has 4 raised feet
to make it nice and sturdy, and it measures approximately 9.25"
x 6.0" and rises 0.5" from the surface. Direct from a
major consignment of vintage metalware that was quite literally
tucked away in the corner of a barn in Manchester, Vermont, it's
a rare opportunity to own a vintage hand painted JZH iron trivet
in excellent condition at a bargain price. /28 |

Vintage
crystal salt & pepper shaker set with silver tops, slightly
tarnished but all in very good condition from the shelf of a Bedford,
NY country estate. These glass shakers are a design classic that's
perfect for both formal and casual occasions, and they taper upward
from a 2.0" x 2.0" base to the silver shaker top and a
total height of approximately 3.0". The textural glass really
catches the light and is one reason why this design is so classically
popular. Each shaker is in very good condition aside from the minor
tarnishing- clean if you so desire- and are good examples of collectibles
that you can use every day and make a design statement at the same
time. |

Two
of the prettiest teacup and saucer sets you'll ever see, direct
from a Park Avenue, NY estate. 1 Shelley English fine bone
china teacup and saucer in the rare Rosebud pattern, with 5.75"
diameter saucer and cup standing 2.5" high and 3.5" in
diameter. The rose bouquets decorating the surface of the saucer
and cup as well as the distinctive Shelley rose inside the cup just
under the top edge are lovely and highly detailed, and the mint
green accent stripe on the edges and the cup handle really add additional
flair. Both are in excellent condition and marked on the bottom
with the Shelley mark, "Fine Bone China England," and
the pattern Rosebud 13426. 2 Marked E-837 on the bottom,
this very distinctive and elegant cup and saucer set has amazing
purple flowers and vines decorating the entire surface of the saucer
and cup. The slim and elegant cup is particularly well done and
uniquely formed, with a light purple base and gold trim just above
the base, on the handle, and along the top rim. The 5.5" diameter
saucer nicely complements the distinctive teacup which stands approximately
4.75" high and 2.0" in diameter. Both sets are in excellent
condition, great for display and to generate a complement at your

country estate, these egg cups have obvious age to them and are
in very good condition measuring approximately 2.5" high and

Nice
set of vintage green glass pieces perfect to both display and use
in your kitchen. The two storage containers measure approximately
9.0" and 6.0" high with the large, interesting tops inserted, and
the little pitcher stands 5.5" high and has a dark green contrasting
handle. The little matching drinking glass stands 3.5" high and
makes a nice little morning juice or milk at bedtime set. We particularly
like the white interiors of this set, contrasting so well with the
green exteriors. Green glass is very collectible, and this vintage
set is in very good condition with only a small 0.5" internal fracture
right above the handle to the pitcher from the manufacturing process.

even with other china patterns, and the set includes a one piece
gravy boat 3.0" high and 8.5" x 7.0", and large round

nice and old, this ceramic jello mold has the look of McCoy
and Royal Haeger and is great to both use and display. A rich brown
glaze covers the exterior of the bowl, while the contrasting white
interior is also patterned on the bottom to make the form in the
jello. There are a few glaze cracks- not structural- and 2 or 3
tiny rim chips all less than 0.25", but otherwise this is in
very good condition for a ceramic mold. It's marked on the bottom
with an "8" and an "F", direct to you from the
