Very
well done marked ceramic twin condiment set features vibrant hand
painted flower decoration in an interesting shape, with 2 separate
vessels and integrated spoons on the 2 lids for added convenience.
The two vessels are connected via a ceramic handle, and we love
the ridges on the body that add extra flair with the flowers. This
cute condiment set is perfect to both use and display, and it measures
approximately 5.75" wide, 4.5" high, and 2.5" deep.
These are marked on the bottom with an "N" in a circle
and the initials SK in a square all impressed in the ceramic, and
it also retains an original paper label which has a seal logo and
script underneath wherein we can't make out the first word but the
second word is in fact Seal. Very well done and priced to sell fast,
right off the shelf of an Atlanta, Georgia downtown luxury penthouse. |

New
listing of 12 mint condition place settings of Gibson China in a
lovely light yellow and cream color, each placesetting consisting
of dinner plate 10.0" in diameter, salad plate 7.0" in
diameter, a nice deep bowl 6.0" in diameter and 2.75"
tall, and coffee mug 4.0" high. Each piece combines the soft
yellow interior with the creamy off white exterior for a great effect,
and each is marked on the bottom with the Gibson China mark. Another
nice thing about Gibson China is that this set of 12 place settings
is all dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe, and we particularly
like the upward curve on the plates as a nice design touch that's
also good for serving food. They're heavy so you'll be glad we offer
free shipping within the continental U.S., and they won't last for
long at this price. |

a wide variety of kitchen and dining settings. This vintage floral
tablecloth measures approximately 68.0" x 52.0" and has
a great overall look. |

Everyone
here adopted this set of 4 vintage New Orleans dining placemats
that feature a laminated depiction of the famous New Orleans French
Quarter scene. The detailing and colors of the street scene are
extremely strong, and it's a very realistic and vibrant depiction
of life in the French Quarter. Each place mat has the Hedwin company
mark and a 1966 copyright in the lower left corner, New Orleans,
Louisiana in italics in the center, and artist Frederic Schuler
Briggs in the lower right corner. The artist Frederic S. Briggs
was elected in 1968 to the coveted American Watercolor Society and
is an active member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society where he
has twice been president. Mr. Briggs continues to teach at the Schuler
School of Fine Art as well as the historic Hampton Mansion and other
venues throughout the city of Baltimore. During the summer months,
he conducts Watercolor Workshops and takes students on working art
tours throughout Europe. The lamination of the placemats protects
them and has ensured that they have remained in pristine condition,
and they measure approximately 17.5" x 11.5" right out
of a Baton Rouge, LA waterfront estate. |

Large
painted enamel serving platter with an interesting geometric design,
right off the display shelf of a major Park Avenue penthouse condominium
in New York City. The base metal of the plate is enameled in a rich
forest green on the top and white beneath, and the enamel paint
gives it a surface sheen that really can't be equaled any other
way. The geometric design in the top center evokes the look of the
50s and makes it great as both a useful serving platter as well
as a piece to be displayed. The substantial size gives you a lot
of flexibility in how it's used, measuring a full 12.0" in
diameter and a height of 1.0" given its steeply curving sides.
The plate is in very good condition with no enamel chips- a rarity
in enamel works of this age- and is sure to add design flair to
any home. |
