This company was founded in Norway in 1876, and soon after the turn of the 20th century David-Andersen began producing exceptionally fine quality enamel jewelry on their silver and gold bases. Their jewelry line became so successful that to many dealers the David-Andersen name has become synonomous with fine enameled jewelry. Look closely in the photographs to see the intricate detail in the alternating geometric design links and the blue links that also radiate outward from a center core.
