Pretty etched amber glass covered dish, with three compartments and a nice deep size so it can be used as a candy dish, relish dish, for hors d'oevres, and much more. You'll be proud to display this one, a rare combining of vintage amber glass with detailed etching that really makes for a great look. In addition, we like the top fan handle covered in gold, and the rims of the cover and the dish are also gold trimmed. All in all, you can tell this was an expensive piece even when it was made back c 1940s. The amber glass really has a way of capturing light and shimmering, and the covered dish in very good condition with no damage and only some minor loss to the gold trim of the handle. It measures approximately 2.25" high not including the cover and rises to 5.0" to the top of the fan when covered.
