Beautiful Royal Vienna period Art Nouveau cup c. 1900. The cup has beautifully colored and detailed painting of 2 maidens in the garden on one side and cupid shooting his arrow on the other. As you can recognize when you see the quality, the cup is signed by the top Art Nouveau artist Wagner to the right of the 2 women. The cup is finished in gold on the interior. Don't miss the ornamental decoration on the bottom plus the gold trim where the cup meets the base stem. The cup is properly marked on the bottom with the Royal Vienna mark, the number 27994, the word "Germany", and what appears to be "Zur Klusenzeil". Absolutely MINT condition in every way. The cup is 2.565" in diameter at the top and stands 3.25" high to the top of the cup and slightly over 4" high to the top of the handle. Great little object d'art from the turn of the century. lz
