This high quality example of early 20th century Bohemian art glass production stands approximately 7.5" high and is pinched on three sides for some added flair. In fact, the pinching also helps to capture the light, bringing even more to life the incredibly vivid colors of blue, purple, gold, and others which differentiate the iridescence of this magnificent vase. This piece could have been produced by several different factories doing this type of art glass during this period, combining subtle but innovative forms with very advanced techniques in the use of color and artistic methods such as feathering. The top opening of the vase measures 3.75" in diameter and the base measures 3.5" in diameter; it flares to about 5.5" wide at the widest point. It's got a great look sure to generate questions and complements, and it's priced at a point to be enjoyed by both beginning and advanced collectors.
