Any little boy or girl would enjoy drinking out of this German alphabet cup, great to use and display or for use even by an adult for that nice cup of espresso. The porcelain is very nicely done, and we love the band of letters and their associated animals around the top perimeter of the cup. There's also a boat displayed, so it's likely a Noah's Ark scene being captured from the Bible. The fun animals include a quail, rhinocerous, squirrel, tiger, unicorn, yak, and more. It has a nice gold trim around the top lip and decorating the handle, and it's marked on the bottom "Germany" along with a number. The cup has good dimensions at approximately 2.5" high and 2.25" in diameter not including the handle, and it's in excellent condition right off the shelf of a Vermont country farmhouse.
