bakelite bangles, one large rounded bangle measuring approximately
3.25" in diameter and 0.5" wide which is paired with two
matching bakelite spacers 3.0" in diameter and 0.125"
wide. These look great together on the wrist, sure to draw complements
from afar, and guaranteed period bakelite as is all bakelite sold
on Collectics. 2 Try it the other way with two large vintage green
bakelite bangles measuring approximately 3.0" in diameter and
a chunky 0.5" wide, paired with a single matching green spacer
bangle 3.0" in diameter and 0.125" wide. Both sets are

Point, Long Island estate liquidation and in excellent condition.
1. Unique goldtone metal leaf pin with two brushed metal
leaves and curling stems set in a twisting wreath. The design and
realism is really strong, and it's a simple yet elegant look suitable
for many occations measuring approximately 1.25" in diameter.
2. Interesting coat of arms goldtone pin, fun to wear and
a nice size at approximately 1.25" in diameter. A crown tops
the elaborate coat of arms, and the intricacy and detailing is quite
strong.

Interesting
hand crafted metalwork open bangle that clearly has some age and
looks great on the wrist. The circular designs are framed in some
nice rope effect metalwork that's tough to render precisely, and
it measures approximately 2.5" x 2.25" and is nice and
wide at a full 1.75" wide on the front. The open bangle design
makes it easy to get on and off, and it's in good condition. As
a fun side question, this bangle is etched on the back "Casablanca
Moroco 1942"- who knows? Bargain price regardless!

love these unique multi-colored sunglasses, cheery colors combining
with dark sunglass lens for a great look. Frankly, we've never seen
multi-colored sunglasses that look like these before, part of a
Miami, Florida estate consignment to Collectics. They're in very
good condition, perfect except for what might be a small bite mark
on the inside back of one of the ear stems (a bad but common habit,
right?) that will never be seen, and they're marked on the ear stem
Taiwan. |

your choice of two fine mint condition German porcelain ashtrays
c. 1950s, part of an executive estate of a German national in Greenwich,
CT. Vintage German porcelain ashtrays are great for porcelain and
tobacciana collectors, and these are well above the norm for vintage
ashtrays. 1 Art Deco style ashtray commemorative of Uberlingen
Germany along with the coat of arms, 4.5" x 3.5" with
great style and marked on the back with the Plankenhammer, Made
in Bavaria Germany mark. 2 Asbach Uralt German breweriana
beer ashtray made by Heinrich in Germany and so marked on the back.
The ashtray features a marketing phrase for the beer and measures
approximately 4.75" in diameter and 1.0" high.

Authentic
John F. Kennedy memorabilia can be yours for a bargain price in
this rare June 12, 1961 Newsweek magazine featuring President John
F. Kennedy on the front cover, art that's worthy of a fame in itself.
This is an issue every collector wants to own. Of course, this was
still early in JFK's short presidency, and the articles detail President
Kennedy's recent meeting with Soviet leader Nikita Kruschchev. These
talks with the Russian president followed JFK's meetings with Charles
de Gaulle and other western leaders, so it's an action packed period
in international diplomacy for JFK. You'll also enjoy the feature
article "Ladies Day at the Summit" which covers Jacqueline
Kennedy's actions and fashions during the summit. Also in this issue
are some great vintage advertising including ads for Ford Motor
Company, Northwestern Mutual Insurance, a super cool Canadian Club
liquor ad featuring a surfer, an early U. S. Heineken beer ad, and
a rare Firestone tire ad featuring the Indianapolis 500 and winner
A. J. Foyt- don't miss the photos! This vintage Newsweek magazine

in China and produced for Houston Harvest, this piece is both dishwasher
and microwave oven safe. It's a nice size at approximately 6.5"
long and 3.5" high, and each of the two attached vessels is
2.75" in diameter; the two chambers are attached and can be

the top, this set of 2 matching zig zag lucite bangles are quite
rare and stack together to look great on a single art or wear one
on each arm as you desire. They measure approximately 3.0"

pretty, mint condition Royal Albert 8.0" diameter English bone
china decorative plate in the "Narcissus" pattern, part
of their Friendship series of 12 decorative plates and great for
display. The Narcissus flower colors and stems are vibrant and realistic
as is typical of Royal Albert china, and the curved perimeter is
trimmed in gold for added effect. The bottom of the plate is properly
marked with the Royal Albert mark, "Bone China England",
plus the name of the pattern. /16

set of vintage "Strikes My Fancy" scented and handcrafted
waxes in unused condition, each heart shaped wax sitting atop a
wire rod at a total height of approximately 8.5". These were
made in Bossier City, Louisiana with a town slogan "Just a
Little More." They're in the original packaging although the
front celophane cover is torn a bit. These look great in a flower
arrangement!

Any
little boy or girl would enjoy drinking out of this German alphabet
cup, great to use and display or for use even by an adult for that
nice cup of espresso. The porcelain is very nicely done, and we
love the band of letters and their associated animals around the
top perimeter of the cup. There's also a boat displayed, so it's
likely a Noah's Ark scene being captured from the Bible. The fun
animals include a quail, rhinocerous, squirrel, tiger, unicorn,
yak, and more. It has a nice gold trim around the top lip and decorating
the handle, and it's marked on the bottom "Germany" along
with a number. The cup has good dimensions at approximately 2.5"
high and 2.25" in diameter not including the handle, and it's
in excellent condition right off the shelf of a Vermont country
farmhouse.

elegant set of two decks of Arrco Playing cards of Chicago, IL that
feature highly detailed color renderings of a young boy in blue
outfit and a young woman with her dress and bonnet blowing in the
breeze. We particularly like the vibrant colors and strong detailing
in these two sets of playing cards, and the gold perimeter band
gives them a nice little added flair. The cards have the Duratone
plastic coating to help keep them free from staining despite many

a commemorative souvenir of Oberstoorf, Germany. It's a very well
done, intereting ashtray appealing to travel, tobacciana collectors

on the top "Echtes Natur-Edelweib" and a model number
raised on the bottom.
