Early period 8 piece celluloid plastic and wood men's toiletries set in the original pigskin box and all in near mint condition. There is no damage to any of the pieces, and overall the set and even the bristles of the brush look to have never been used. The set consists of 4 covered plastic boxes of varying sizes (5.75" x 3.0", 4.25" x 1.5", 6.5" x 1.5", and 3.75" x 2.0"), a 4.5" x 2.5" wood brush with beautiful finish (see photo), a comb, a shoe horn, and a mirror on a stand. The only flaw in this entire period set is the missing loop on the front of the original leather box! The box itself measures 10.5" x 6.5" and stands 2.75" high. Beautiful golden finish on the plastic. The side of the brush is marked "Gift Set", "Nylon", and "USA". The color and condition of this set is fantastic and definitely period.
